DENIS FISH

He was born March 24, 1950, in Steubenville, Ohio. Denis was a retired Tin Mill Operator from Weirton Steel after working for 42 years. He was devoted to his family. He was proud to have served as a Heavy Equipment Operator in the US Army and did one tour of Vietnam during his time of service.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert E Fish of Calis WV and Mother Edith M Spires of Columbus OH. As well as three brothers James Fish of Rutland OH, Paster Ronald Fish of Etna OH, Richard Fish of New Cumberland WV and sister Marjorie Ralph of New Cumberland WV.

He leaves behind his beloved and devoted wife of 44 years, Yvonne (Crawford) Fish, his Loving children, Charles Michael Fish (Tina) of Bristow VA, Aaron Todd Fish (Becky) of Harpers Ferry WV, Laura Elizabeth Dulaney (Tom) of Toledo OH, and John Joseph Fish (Kelly) of Hicksville OH. He was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, whom he loved dearly. He also leaves behind his dear sister Diane Waggner of Reynoldsburg OH, along with many nieces and nephews which were dear to his heart.

He also Leaves behind his two dogs Poppy and Tilly who were devoted to him and four cats, Sabrina, Shadow, Sassy and Clementine.

Denis was a Patriot and Loved his country and state. He loved nature, animals and music. He Loved his tractors and was often seen fixing or plowing the road for the neighborhood or simply doing odd jobs for those in need. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great- grandfather and uncle. He will be dearly missed by his family and those who knew him.

Visitation will be held Wednesday October 8, 2025 from 2pm to 6pm with Military Service at Turley Funeral Home LLC. Grave side services will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Callis, WV at a later date.
