CHARLES BARTON

Charles Keith Barton, 66 of Colliers, WV, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at his residence under the care of wife with the assistance of Valley Hospice.

Chuck was born on September 17, 1959 in Steubenville, OH. He was the son of Janet (Parish) Barton Renforth and the late Harry Nelson Barton Sr.

Chuck served his country proudly in the United States Air Force serving as Security Specialist and worked as a Pipefitter with the Local Union 495 of Plumbers & Pipefitters. Many will remember Chuck for his love of watching sports, especially the Steelers.

In addition to his mother, Chuck is survived by his wife of 36 years, Mary (McCaffrey) Barton and his son, Justin Barton.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 from 12 Noon until time of concluding prayers and Military Honors at 2:00 PM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304)527-1717, rendered by the US Air Force and the Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad. In addition to a reception to follow at Olde St. John Epsicopal Church, Colliers.
