TIMOTHY OTT

Timothy John “Tim” Ott, Sr., 68 of Follansbee, WV died peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at his home.
Tim was born on June 28, 1957, in Steubenville, OH a son of Elizabeth (Schaefer) Ott of Follansbee, WV and the late Clarence Ott. In addition to his father, Tim is preceded in death by one brother, David W. Ott, Sr., and a sister, Judy (Ott) Hammonds.
Tim graduated from Brooke High School Class of 1975. He was a member of the Follansbee Church of Christ. He worked and retired from Weirton Steel Corporation
where he was a Tin Mill operator. He had a love for fishing, white water rafting, gardening, and spending time with his family most of all.
Tim is survived by the love of his life of 47 years Pamela “Pam” (Tate) Ott at home; three children, Christopher Ott of Parkersburg, WV, Timothy J. Ott, Jr. of Weirton, WV, Tabetha and husband Paul Koniski of Steubenville, OH; three grandsons, Payton, Benjamin, and Grayson; one brother-in-law, Billie Jack Hammonds of Follansbee, WV; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation for Tim will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm and again on Wednesday, September 24th from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 pm with Pastor Jason Cline officiating at Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV 26037.
Inurnment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Brown Bag Diner at the Follansbee Church of Christ at 861 Neville St. Follansbee, WV 26037.
Tim’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Hunter Sistilli and Andrea Snoderly who are like family and their church family, the Doctor’s and Nurse’s at the Teramana Cancer Center, and the Nurses at Trinity Hospital for all of their help and care with Tim.
