MARY ANN RAYBURN
Mary Ann Rayburn, 73, of Wintersville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born on November 19, 1951, in Steubenville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Mary and Clarence Downing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles “Fast Frank” Rayburn; son-in-law, Chris King; grandson, Matthew Smith; brother-in-law, David Rayburn; and father-in-law, Jack Rayburn.
Mary Ann is survived by her daughters, Megan (James Renforth) King and Michael Ann (Aric Lemaster) Kuester; her cherished grandchildren, Julianna King, Ryan King, Molly King, and Michael Smith, who brought endless joy to her life; her siblings, Tom (Sylvia) Downing, Jack (Janie) Downing, and Karen (Bob) Polsinelli; as well as several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her mother-in-law, Thelma Rayburn; and sister-in-law, Deborah Rayburn (David) Skaggs.
Being a Mimi was one of Mary Ann’s greatest joys, and she absolutely adored her grandchildren. She beamed with pride whenever she spoke about how beautiful, talented, and special they were.
Mary Ann never met a stranger and was known for her generous heart. She had a gift for turning friends into family and will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
She and Frank spent many years traveling the country, drag racing, and living life on two wheels– experiences most only dream of. A true Cleveland Browns fan, Mary Ann was well-known for her witty humor and spirited personality.
A graduate of Wintersville High School, Class of 1970. Mary Ann spent many years working as a dedicated parts manager at Neidengard’s Harley- Davidson, where she built lasting friendships and shared her passion for motorcycles with others.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life on Sunday, September 21, at Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville, OH, where visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, followed by a short service.
Mary Ann will be forever loved and missed by her family and friends.
