CECELIA “CISSY” CLEMENS

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Cecelia “Cissy” Clemens, 76, of Steubenville, OH. Cissy passed away peacefully at home on July 18, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born on January 7, 1949, in Navarre, OH, Cissy spent much of her early life there before relocating in 1988. That same year, she and her beloved late husband, Tom Clemens, became proud owners of Roto-Rooter of Steubenville. Together, they poured their hearts into building the business to a successful and respected part of the community, serving the area for nearly three decades.
Cissy was also a longtime and dedicated employee of Nickles Bakery, where she worked for twenty-two years before retiring.
Her work ethic, loyalty, and dedication left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Cissy has a passion for bowling, where she held many leadership roles and made lifelong friends.
She cherished family beach vacations and fun outings to Mountaineer Casino with friends and loved ones. Above all, Cissy hand an unwavering love for her four- legged children. Her beloved dogs-Nicky, Nikki 2, Toby, Roxy, and Sasha- were more than pets; they were her constant companions and the joy of her life. Cissy is survived by her loving children, grandchildren, extended family, and many dear friends. She is now reunited with those who went before her-especially her husband Tom, who has waited two years to dance with her once again.
Cissy will be deeply missed but never forgotten. In keeping with Cissy’s wishes, she will be cremated, and no services will be held at this time. Arrangements entrusted to the Mark R. Vrabel Funeral Home, North Canton, OH 330-452- 4041.
