JOHN ISINGHOOD

John was born June 15, 1939, in Sherrard, WV to the late Alden and Clara Isinghood. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Wayne Isinghood.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years Martha (Miller) Isinghood one child Connie Wilson, two grandchildren, Heather Isinghood and Justin Coen, two great grandchildren Donovan Forster and Kylee Forrester of Weirton, WV, one brother Charles Isinghood of Wellsburg, WV, one sister Betty (Isinghood) Hanlon of Wellsburg, WV, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was member of the Wellsburg First Church of God, West Liberty Lions Club. John was retired from the Dept. of Highway of 32 years and a graduate of Wellsburg High School in 1959. John would always be smiling that would light up a room, he loved helping others, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, his cats and enjoyed his food. He enjoyed going to Twisters on Saturdays for breakfast and on Sundays to Church. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles St. Wellsburg, WV. Funeral service April 24, 2025, at 11a.m. at the Wellsburg First Church of God with Pastor Jim Seabright officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery, Wellsburg, WV.
