GLENN GRIMES

Glenn was born on November 6, 1929 in Maynard, Ohio, a son of the late Willis and Erna Grimes.

Glenn was a long-time member of Wintersville Methodist Church, the Methodist Men’s group and served on numerous church committees. He was a graduate of St. Clairsville High School Class of 1947.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel in 1991.

Besides his parents. Glenn was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Grimes in 2022; his great- granddaughter Sadie Jo Tice; sisters, Mary, Laura, Lillian; brothers Robert, Cecil, Odle, Floyd; and son-in-law Bob Leonard.

He is survived by his son, Tim (Janet) Grimes; daughters, Glenda Leonard and Shari (Mike) Tice; five grandchildren, Jason (Jenna) DiBenedetto, Christy Devore, Cody Leonard, Ethan (Jordan) Tice and Mikayla Tice; five great-grandchildren Garrett, Jacob and Brantley Devore, Anna DiBenedetto and Gabby Tice. He is also survived by his loyal and loving canine companion, Daisy.

Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Wednesday 4-7 p.m.; then at Wintersville Methodist Church, 702 Main St., Wintersville, Ohio on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11a.m. with Reverend Dr. Clint Quillen officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
