SARAH ANDERSON
Sarah Alice (O’Shinsky) Anderson, age 73, of Weirton, WV, passed away on March 26, 2025 with her devoted husband, Wesley Anderson at her side. Sarah was born in Canonsburg, PA on July 18,1951 to the late Josephine (Ambrose)and Frank O’Shinsky.
She was a beloved wife of Wesley Anderson of Weirton, WV. Sarah was a devoted sister to Josephine O.Davis of San Clemente , CA, Dr Evelyn O. Talbott of Pittsburgh, and her brother, Frank J. O’Shinsky of Canonsburg. She was also a devoted Aunt to Demi Anderson Mitiku, of Weirton, WV, Aaron Davis of San Clemente, CA, Matthew Davis of Mission Viejo, CA and Jacqueline Talbott Kremer, Alexandria, VA and John B. Talbott of New York, NY. Sarah attended Robert Morris College and began employment at the Pittsburgh Press, Washington County edition in 1981. When the Pittsburgh Press ceased operation in the early 1990’s, she became the cashier supervisor for the Pittsburgh Post Gazette in l992 and continued until 2019 when she retired.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April,6th at 12 PM at the Ferry Glenn Church of the Nazarene, Colliers WV 26035.
