CAROL HACKATHORN

Carol Lee Hackathorn, 81, of Weirton, WV, passed Sunday, March 23, 2025 at home. She was born April 17, 1943 in Cleveland, OH, daughter of the late George and Ruth Ludlam Noles. She is also preceded in death by her son, Charles William Hackathorn III; and her sisters, Judy McGivern (Dennis) and Georgejean Noles.

Carol was Christian by faith. She enjoyed talking on the phone with friends and family. She also loved listening to live bands and dancing. Most of all, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Carol is survived by her loving daughter, Mollie Tinlin (Amy Carson); granddaughters, Jaime Tinlin and Haley Lumley (Howard); great-grand children, Hazel Moon, Miona Lumley, Clay Lumley, and Tripp Lumley; brothers, Richard Noles (Marti) and Lloyd Noles (Lori); and sisters, Jody Albertson (Steve) and Alma Sanor (Dennis).

Per Carol’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A family service and inurnment will take place at Bergholz Cemetery, Bergholz, OH. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Weirton, WV.
