ELIZABETH HOOVER
Elizabeth Lea “Lizzie” Hoover, 13, passed away at her home. She was born in Steubenville on December 2, 2010.
Lizzie was an active 8th grader at Harding Middle School where she was a member of the National Junior Honor Society and participated in the band (drummer), volleyball, softball, wrestling, track and baton twirling.
Lizzie is survived by her father and stepmother, Luke and Allie Shorac Hoover; mother and stepfather, Erin Kain and Mark Battistel; brother, Lucas Hoover; siblings, Anna Spanovich, Domenic and Lilliana Hoover and Aria Battistel; paternal grandmother, Kathleen Lucas Hoover; maternal grandfather, Patrick Kain; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Lizzie was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Robert Hoover; and maternal grandmother, Kathleen Kain.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Wednesday 4-7 p.m.
Funeral liturgy with mass 10 a.m. Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Church with Rev. Michael Gossett officiating.
Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
