TERRY THOMPSON

He was born June 28, 1938 in Steubenville the son of the late Joseph Vincent and Virginia Phyllis (Hedges) Thompson.

Terry was a graduate of Steubenville High School, Steubenville Business College and airline school. He loved to garden, do wood crafts and loved his grandchildren. He was retired and had been the owner for fifty years of the Thompson Bookkeeping and Tax Service and had also worked in the railroad, airline and restaurant industries.

In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his wife, Celestia K. (Monigold) Thompson in 2019 whom he married December 3, 1977 and a son Douglas E. Thompson in 2010.

Terry’s survivors include daughters; Lori (James) Cronin of Hammondsville, Diana Santoyo of Arlington, TX, Karen (Tommy) Small of Castleberry, FL; sons, Thomas Samuel (Tonda) Thompson of Toronto, David (Mireya) Thompson of Arlington, TX and Kenny (Lisa) Thompson of Davenport, FL; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grand- children and one great- great grandchild a sister, Sandra Joan (Robert) McFadden of Onalaska, WI.

Visitation hours for Terry will be held from 10 am to 1 pm Friday June 21st at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto. A celebration service of Terry’s life will be held at 1 pm Friday with Reverend Susan Clagg officiating. Interment will follow at the Center Chapel Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in memory of Terry may be made to Jefferson County Humane Society.
