FRANCES ASFOUR
Frances Asfour, formerly of Weirton, joined her husband Shukri and daughter Leila Chamma in heaven on May 27, 2024 at Hospice of the Eastern Panhandle.
Surviving are her other three children, Fay Stump (Greg) of Hedgesville, WV, with whom she made her home since 2015; Joseph Asfour (Joyce) of Land O’Lakes, Florida, and Lisa Flaifel (George) of Markham, Ontario, Canada.
Visitation and funeral liturgy, co-celebrated by Father Mario Claro and Father Alfred Obiudu, took place at noon, on Monday, June 3, 2024 at St. Leo’s Catholic Church, Inwood, West Virginia. Those who could not attend her funeral liturgy can view it on St. Leo’s You Tube Channel.
In Weirton, West Virginia, visitation will take place from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street with Christian burial at St. Paul’s Cemetery to follow. Father John Neiman presiding.
