JOHN JOHNSTON
John Robert Johnston, 74, passed away , Thursday, May 2, 2024. He was born in East Liverpool, Ohio October 24, 1949, a son of the late John Johnston and Betty (Weaver) Klepack. He was a veteran of the Army and a former Body Shop owner and a former member of the Colliers Sportsmens Club.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Johnston, a grandchild, Kevin Salsbury, step-dad, Steve Klepack; a brother, David Klepack and a sister Wanda Beatty.
He is survived by two sons, Rob (Michelle) Johnston of East Liverpool and Jason (Deena) Johnston of Calcutta; eight grandchildren, Robbie, Jason and Chelsea Johnston, Chelsea Curran, Austin and David Barret, Daniel and Nitz and Lacie Gump. Seven great-grandchildren, Camden, Gabriel, Elijah, Kye, Maddox, Adam and Sophia. A brother, Jim Klepack of WV. Private arrangements were held by the family. Nixon Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
