SHIRLEY REITTER

She was born on July 15, 1942, in Wellsburg, WV, a daughter of the late Walter Blair and Josa (Goddard) Larkey. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by six brothers, Victor, Louis, Robert, Raymond, Lonnie, and Leroy; and one sister, Bonnie Lowry.

Shirley graduated from Follansbee High School Class of 1960 and worked at Washington Hospital as a housekeeping supervisor. She was Christian by faith. When she retired, she enjoyed spending her free time with her family, crafting, and remodeling homes for the ones she loved.

Shirley is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, William Reitter at home; seven children, Theresa Moran of Weirton, WV, Michael Moran or Wellsburg, WV, Steven (Beth) Moran, William (Josie) Moran, Carol Altomare, Milissa (Joe) Reed all of Colliers, WV, Christina Cross (Paul) of Follansbee, WV; two sisters, Rose Monseau and Lola Strope both of Weirton, WV; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter whom she loved very much along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 2:00 pm at Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV 26037.

Interment will follow at St. John Haven of Rest Cemetery in Colliers, WV.
