JOHN C. ‘DOC’ BAHNSEN
Military services and a celebration of the life of U.S. Army Brig. Gen. John C. “Doc” Bahnsen Jr. are to be held April 20 in Georgia and May 4 at New Cumberland, W.Va.
Bahnsen died Feb. 21, 2024, at Rochelle, Ga. He was 89.
Services are to be held at his Georgia home, 440 J.B McWhorter Road, Rochelle, GA 31079, at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 20. Services at his West Virginia residence, the Miller family farm, 993 Gas Valley Road, New Cumberland, W.Va., 26047, are set for 2 p.m. Saturday, May 4.
Friends of the families and all who fondly remember “Doc” Bahnsen are welcome to attend. A luncheon will follow.
