WILLIAM EMERY

He was born April 15, 1955, in Steubenville, Ohio, a son of the late William and Eleanor (Bukoffsky) Emery Sr. In addition to his parent’s he was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher “Chris” Emery; sister-in-law, Kimberly Emery; uncle, Edward “Jack” Emery.

He was a life member of Jefferson County Sportsman Club, member of Mingo Sportsman Club and Wintersville American Legion Post 557. Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle. He was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. He was a retired Boilermaker with Local #154.

Tom is survived by his wife of 50 years, Norma (Kimble) Emery; four sons, William T. Emery III, Edward Emery, Matthew (Brianna) Emery, and Michael (Cara) Emery; brother, David (Nancy) Emery; sisters, Robin Emery, Debbie (Ken) Mitchell, and Lisa (Charlie) Anderson; grandchildren, William T. (Samantha) Emery IV, Taylor (Jon) Vining, Sydney Emery, Alaina Emery, Luke Emery, and Leona Emery; great-grandchildren, Charlotte Emery, Grayson Vining and Oliver Vining.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Road, Wintersville, on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, from 4-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2024, with Fr. Steven McKeown officiating.

Private interment at Fort Steuben Burial Estates. The family would like to thank Valley Hospice for their care and compassion for Tom.
