ROBERT SERDAR
Robert Frank Serdar, 82, of East Springfield, Ohio, passed away on March 9, 2024. He was born on June 30, 1941, in Steubenville, Ohio, to the late Frank and Mildred (Stepanovich) Serdar. In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his brother, Matt Serdar.
Robert was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member at the Christ United Methodist Church in East Springfield, Ohio. Robert worked for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel for 30 years until his retirement.
He is survived by his loving wife, Judith (Thompson) Serdar; his daughters, Kimberly (Tim) Walters and Tracy Robinson; his son, Brian Serdar; his sister, Ann McKnight; his grandchildren, Kyle (Ashley) Serdar and Phillip Robinson; and his great grandchildren, Tyler and Tucker Berardinelli.
Friends will be received at the Christ United Methodist Church, 203 Church St, East Springfield, Ohio, 43925, on Friday, March 15, 2024, from 10 A.M. until time of services at 1 P.M. with Pastor Deborah Kellar and Dorman Mader officiating. Burial will follow at Bergholz Cemetery with military honors.
