PETER COLANTONI
Peter Anthony Colantoni, of Wintersville, OH, passed away on March 12, 2024, at the age of 73 as a result of vascular dementia. Peter was born on June 26, 1950, to his late parents John and Angeline (Maggi) Colantoni in Steubenville, OH.
Peter graduated from Wintersville High School in 1968, was Sergeant of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier from 1969-1971 and spent the majority of his life working at Timet Titanium Metals Corp.in Toronto, OH.
Peter and Lorraine (Givens) Colantoni were happily married for fifty years (May 19, 1973). They had two daughters, Cristen Colantoni Weissbach and the late Monica Ann Colantoni- Minturn; and father figure to James Cassidy.
Peter is survived by his brother Mark Colantoni; sister Clara Colantoni Miller; aunt Palmina Maggi; son-in laws Daniel Weissbach and Charles Bruce (CB) Minturn III; grandchildern Stella Minturn, Alina Minturn, Iris Minturn and River Moreano Weissbach; sister-in law Joni Colantoni; nieces Amy Colantoni Parikakis, Cara Walter, and Marci Colantoni Wojtas; nephews Noah Miller and Adam Miller; family friend Ron Babbs. The list of great nieces, nephews and loving family members is endless.
Visitation will be held Friday March 22nd from 3-6 pm and Saturday March 23rd from 10-11 am at Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, Steubenville, OH. A funeral service will be held at Mosti Funeral Home Saturday March 23rd at 11am with Rev. Jason Elliot officiating, followed by an internment at Union Cemetery in Steubenville, OH and a Celebration of Life Luncheon in Wintersville, OH.
