CHARLES ROSS SR.

Charlie was born April 9, 1934, in Colliers, WV, son of the late Marion E. and Ruth (Lindsay) Ross.

Charlie retired from the Toronto City Schools, where he worked for 30 years as a bus driver and custodian. After retirement, Charlie delivered newspapers for the 3 Ogden newspapers delivered in the area.

He graduated from high school in Mannington, WV, and received a degree in Theology from the Indiana Bible College.

In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by two sons, Danny and William Ross, daughter, Vickie Exterovich, two sisters, Yvonne Minor and Sharlene Meighan and three brothers, James, Joseph, and Paul Ross.

Surviving is his wife, Ruth E. (Waugh) Ross; two sons, Charles L. Ross, Jr., and Donald E. Ross; two sisters, Susie Schoelwer and Francis Wright; three brothers, Roy (Glenna) Ross, Richard Ross, and Daniel L. Ross; six grandchildren, Danny Ross Jr., Eric Calderwood, Afton Crist, Justice Ross, Ariel Exterovich and Charles ‘Tre’ Ross, III, and several great grand- children.

Visitation will be held on Saturday March 2, from 11 am to 1 pm followed by the funeral at 1 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Burial will be held at the convenience of his family in the Toronto Union Cemetery. www.jefosterfh.com
