NORMA JEAN RAWSON
Jean Rawson 85, of Brooksville, Florida, formerly of Toronto, Ohio. passed away August 15, 2023 at Bayfront Health Brooksville. She was born in Warren, Ohio to Gwendolyn Mae and David Collin.
She was a registered nurse, graduating from the Ohio Valley School of nursing. Jean was employed at the former Ohio Valley Hospital, was the School Nurse for the Edison Local School District and while in Brooksville, worked in Sr. Turkington’s office. She enjoyed reading, her clubs and the friendship of all of her friends.
Along with her parents, she was preceeded in death by her husband, Frederick H. Rawson in 2005. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Cyndy (Andy) Fidak of Toronto, Doug Rawson and companion Melissa Johnson of Bloomingdale, Aaron ( Hanna) Rawson of Valley Lee, MD, Howard D. Rawson and companion Danielle Gonce of Spring Hill, FL; 6 grandchildren, Ryan (Stephanie) Fidak, Kylee (Michael) Paris, Tallon Rawson, Areica Rawson, Hannah Rawson, and Adrianna Rawson and 5 great grandchildren; Hunter, Holden, and Hayden Paris, Maddox and Brynlee Fidak and her siblings Gwen (Bert) Faller of Lakeland, TN and David (Beverly) Collin of Naples, Florida.
As per Jean’s wishes, services will be private and at the convivence of the family. Jean’s charity of choice is the American Heart Association.
