MARIAN MAYLE
Marian Mayle (Buchmelter), 69 of Cadiz, OH formerly of Follansbee, WV died peacefully on Sunday, August 6, 2023, at her home surrounded by family after three yearlong battle with Leukemia.
Born on February 3, 1954 in Steubenville, OH a daughter of the late Joseph and Vivian (DiAntonio) Buch- melter. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother Joseph Buchmelter.
She graduated from Brooke High School class of 1972. Later in life she became a wonderful homemaker, wife, and mother to her children.
Marian is survived by her loving husband of 48 years Earl Mayle at home, one son Bradley (Cheyenne) Mayle of Wheeling, WV; one daughter Marcie (Todd) Goodman of Wheeling, WV; two grandchildren, Garret and Sawyer Mayle; three brothers, Tim (Penne) Buchmelter of Follansbee, WV, Brendan Buchmelter of Clearwater, FL, Regis (Jodie) Buchmelter of Wintersville, OH, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thank you to OSU James Cancer Center and Shiffler Cancer Center for their excellent care of Marian and her family.
In memory of Marian, the family would like everyone to consider giving the gift of life through blood and platelet donation.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Cancer Center per Marians request.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 10:30 A.M. till the time of the Liturgy of the Word at 12:00 P.M. with Fr. Binu Sebastian Officiating at the Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV 26037.
