Larry Craig Butler, Sr., 70, born May 28, 1952, in Fairplay, OH, passed away Monday, February 13, 2023, at his home in Bloomingdale, OH.
Craig worked for the County Highway Dept. for 30 years and retired 10 years ago. He enjoyed his family, farming, riding his motorcycle and driving his 1974 Chevy named Big Barney.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Dorothy 'Dot' Pasco Butler; son, Larry Craig Butler, Jr. and wife Tonya; grandson, Larry 'Michael' Butler and girlfriend Kaylee Bates Williams; adopted granddaughter, Paige Hinerman; soon to be great grandson, Brantley Michael Butler; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bill and Karen Pasco, Minnie Verhovec, and Peg Hoobler.
Craig was preceded in death by his father, Eanon Butler, mother Alameda Scott Butler, six brothers, Jim, Thurman, Dick, Ted, Robert, Tom and a sister, Barbara Lynn.
Family and friends will be received Thursday, Feb. 16 from 3 PM to 7 PM at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH. Kenny Kourim will officiate Craig's funeral service at 7 PM. Burial will be held at the convenience of his family. www.jefosterfh.com
