Nancy Ludewig

Nancy L. Ludewig of Toronto passed away peacefully on Monday, July 4, 2022, under the watchful care of Valley Hospice with her loving children by her side. She was 85 years old.

Nancy was born on June 1, 1937, in Steubenville, OH., the only child of James L. and Martina (Lovy) Brown.

She was very devoted to her Catholic faith, most recently attending Saint Joseph Catholic Parish in Toronto.

She spent her entire life in the area raising her family, keeping her home, and adoring the time in which she had spent with her great- grandchildren. She spent her spare time enjoying a good game of cards, bingo at Riverside Manor, and dining out, but she found much joy in the Hallmark Channel.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Ludewig whom she married on February 2, 1957, and who passed away on January 28, 1999, and her in-laws, Frank, and Catherine Ludewig.

Nancy will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Cara (Tom) Kamarec of Weirton, sons Ray (Teresa) Ludewig and Mark (Sally) Ludewig, all of Toronto, grandchildren Matt (Katie) Ludewig, Mike (Michaela) Ludewig, Lindsay (Jared) Pinkerton, Mitchell (Nicole) Ludewig, Stacey (Justin) Sears, Shelby Kamarec and her significant other Terry Levers, six great-grandchildren, and two sisters-in-law, Florence Kostur and Kathy Fox, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may visit Nancy's family on Thursday, July 7, at Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Parish in Toronto from 10 AM until the time of the 11:30 mass.

Fr. Thomas Vennitti will preside.

Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
