Jennifer (Smith) DeStefano 47, of Follansbee, WV died suddenly on Thursday, April 1 2021 at her home in Follansbee, WV.
She was born on May 13, 1973 in Weirton, WV to Paul and Donna (Tate) Smith. She was preceded in death by her father-in-Law Champ DeStefano, her maternal grandparents Albert and Audrey Tate, her paternal grandfather Paul E. Smith, and a paternal grandfather Charles Craig.
Jennifer graduated from Brooke High School in 1991. She went to attend the Pittsburgh School of Phlebotomy and achieved her certificate. She was Catholic by faith and attended St. Anthony's Catholic Church. She worked at the family business DeStefano's Bar and Restaurant in Follansbee where she was known and loved by many.
She is survived by her loving husband of 21 years Pete DeStefano III at home; her son Nicolas Destefano and companion Ontasia Petteway of Follansbee, WV; parents, Paul and Donna (Tate) Smith of Follansbee, WV; her brother Jared (Denise) Smith of Weirton, WV; her mother-in-law Dolores DeStefano of Follansbee, WV; a paternal grandmother Shirley Craig of Wellsburg, WV; a paternal grandmother Martha Tipton of Wellsburg, WV; and her furry companions CoCo and Maverick.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 from 3pm until Funeral Liturgy of the Word at 7pm with Fr. Jude Perera of St. Anthony's Catholic Church officiating at the Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV 26037.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Mullenbach Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
