Mytia Barker
Mytia Dawn Barker succumbed to a fatal gunshot injury on August 9, 2020. Mytia was the bright and vibrant daughter of Heather Hamilton and Joseph Barker. She was a graduate of Steubenville High School and Youngstown State University. She was due to enter law school at Akron University this fall.
Mytia was everyone’s future and senseless violence has killed this innocent victim with a future of potential, possibility, and prosperity.
She leaves her parents, siblings, friends, and citizens to rise up in her name and fight back. For Mytia, do not let this burial end the fight against the gang and gun violence in Steubenville.
