DUFFY, David A. , "Pap," 65, of Wintersville, OH, passed away March 25, 2017, at UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh.
He was born Oct. 17, 1951, in Pittsburgh, PA, a son of the late James and Martha (Ingles) Duffy.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Mickey Duffy.
David loved ICHS sports where he was known as "Pap," and a member of the Booster Club. He was an avid watcher, and participator, of many sports through his life. David was a Cub Scout leader for many years with Pack 415, as well as a supporter of Jim Woods Park where he enjoyed walking and socializing.
He is survived by his wife, Connie M. (Spoonemore) Duffy; children, Debyn (Nick) Mamula, Jesse (Jamie) James, Emily (Jason) Bush; his favorite pal, George the dog; grandchildren, Jake, Josh, Matt, Aiden, Madison, Kaitlyn, Sami, Megan, Lucy, and Georgie; brothers, Jim (Peg) Duffy, Dennis (Lydia) Duffy, Kerry Duffy; many nieces and nephews. And all the other kids' lives that were touched by "Pap."
Per David's wishes there will be no services.
