Anna ‘Baba’ Tomovcik

Anna was born July 26, 1930, in Vinne, Slovak Republic, daughter of the late John and Anna Ridos Dzacko.

Anna was a member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Toronto, Ohio, Toronto Sr. Citizens and she was a sales clerk at Kaufmann’s Dept. Store for 27 years.

In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, John Tomovcik.

Baba was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She leaves behind her son, Vladimir Tomovcik of Toronto, OH; her two grandchildren, Mandy Belardi and Mike Tomovcik and her five great-grandchildren.

Funeral Liturgy with Mass for Anna will be held on Friday, March 15 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Toronto, Ohio with Fr. Thomas Vennitti as Celebrant. There will be visitation in the rear of the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of her Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery.
