Members of the Rotary Club of Weirton, during their meeting Wednesday, learned more about the services of the Community Bread Basket from board President Marilyn Charnie and Administrator Jeanie Montgomery. Earlier this year, the Community Bread Basket moved to the former WesBanco branch on Main Street in Weirton, where officials say they can better provide for the needs of the area through the organization’s food pantry and other services. The Community Bread Basket serves more than 1,000 area families, who are able to get food once a month.
