Representatives with the Mountaineer Food Bank’s Mobile Food Pantry were in Follansbee Tuesday afternoon as part of its monthly food distribution. The distribution is organized locally through the cooperation of the Brooke County Area Chamber of Commerce, in an effort to fulfill an agreement previously entered into by the Brooke-Hancock Family Resource Network which ceased operations earlier this year. Part of Feeding America, the Mountaineer Food Bank provides services to 48 of West Virginia’s 55 counties.
