Mr. Fancy Pants entertained area residents who attended Friday’s Second First Friday on Fourth Event. The evening included the sixth-annual live karaoke competition, and Marc Barnes, president of the Harmonium Project, which organizes the monthly street fair, said that a record 23 participants had registered to take the stage. Friday’s event had been scheduled for Aug. 7, but was postponed because of rain. Two editions of First Friday remain for this season -- Sept. 4 and Oct. 2.
