KENT -- More than 80 Jefferson County residents were recognized for academic achievement during the May 2026 term at Kent State University, according to newly released university records.
A total of 82 local students earned academic honors, including 14 students named to the President's List for achieving a perfect 4.0 grade point average. Another 58 students were named to the Dean's List, while 10 part-time students received Dean's List part-time recognition.
To qualify for the Dean's List, full-time students must earn a grade point average of 3.50 or higher. The President's List recognizes students who achieve a perfect 4.0 GPA.
President's List
Jefferson County students earning a spot on the President's List were Kendall Hennis, Kolton Hennis and Elizabeth Hope of Bloomingdale; Morgan Lander of Rayland; Dominick Andreozzi, Kaleigh Desrocher and Tice Mitchell of Steubenville; Emily McDiffitt of Tiltonsville; Jacob Cottrell of Toronto; Tayler Bowers, Megan Gampolo, Kailey McMillion and Ava Schloss of Wintersville; and Jasmine Yohe of Yorkville.

Tiltonsville Dean's List honorees were Julia Buck and Charles Johnston.
Toronto Dean's List honorees were Madison Cooper, Alyson Haber, Ty Suffoletta and Matthew Whitehill.
Wintersville Dean's List honorees were Milana Bressler, Anthony Capaldi, Anna Doyle, Morgan Grant, Maddox Gulan, Jordan Hiles, Jayda Jones, Brody Krantz, Colin Krantz, Samantha Mamula, Tyler Martin, Alexandria Miller, Taylor Moss, Vanessa Redfern, Ciarra Rossi, Alexia Shoemaker, Jarrett White and Sandy Zhang.
