Area residents braved temperatures in the upper 90s and a heat index of more than 100 degrees to be a part of the monthly event. Wednesday’s theme was “Red, White and Boom.” Activities continued with a special edition Thursday, carrying a theme of “Magic.” The Aug. 5 edition of the monthly street fair will be built around a Back-to-School theme, and the final event of the season on Sept. 2 will feature a fall theme. The activities begin at 4:30 p.m. each night.
