Brooke County grand jury indicts 24

WELLSBURG — Two dozen area residents had initial hearings in Brooke County Circuit Court this week after being indicted by a county grand jury.

Among them was Charles Holden, 47, of 98 10th St., Wellsburg, who faces charges including DUI causing serious bodily injury, leaving the scene of a crash involving serious bodily injury, obstructing an officer and possession of a controlled substance.

According to reports at the time of the incident, Holden was arrested March 4 after allegedly striking a utility pole along Eldersville Road and causing lines to fall on the roadway before fleeing the scene.

The incident reportedly resulted in a passenger being injured.

Following a search by Brooke County sheriff’s deputies and West Virginia State Police, Holden was found in a wooded area near Brooke View Drive, with officers reportedly finding methamphetamine in his possession.

Others indicted during the June term of the grand jury are:

Kyron Coleman, 38, 708 Virginia Ave., Follansbee, 20 counts of child neglect creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury;

Cody Colley, 34, 36 Claims Land Drive, Follansbee, five counts of delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance, two counts of possession with intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance, two counts of being prohibited from possessing a firearm;

Steven Conway, 35, 1024 Garfield St., McMechen, possession with intent to deliver Schedule II (meth), transporting Schedule II narcotic into state, conspiracy;

Pierre Curenton, 40, 61 Gullette Lane, Weirton, driving under the influence of alcohol, third offense;

Scott Dentz, 44, 4166 County Road 1, Rayland, sex assault second degree, sexual assault third degree, sex abuse by a custodian, sex abuse first degree;

Sara Fram, 52, 1314 West St., Apartment 1, Follansbee, entering without breaking, petit larceny;

Mark Galiano Jr., 26, 136 Putney Ridge Road, Colliers, grand larceny, receiving/transferring stolen goods, conspiracy, driving while revoked for DUI, third offense;

Jesse Hubbard, 56, 52 Woodbridge Park, Weirton, eight counts of failure to register as a sex offender, second offense; two counts of being a person prohibited from possessing a firearm; possession with intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance (cocaine); four counts of child neglect creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury;

Kayla Hunter, 35, 57 Dew Drop Drive, Wellsburg, grand larceny;

Allen Jackson, 28, 26 Debry Lane, Wellsburg, sexual assault first degree, sexual assault second degree, sexual assault third degree, sex abuse by a parent, guardian or custodian, sexual abuse first degree, incest;

Kenneth Knight, 31, 73 27th St., Wellsburg, burglary;

Brittany Little, 36, 323 North Fork Road, Weirton, taking identity of another person, grand larceny, receiving/transferring stolen goods, conspiracy;

Shawn Maderia, 46, 36 Claims Land Drive, Follansbee, two counts of delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance;

Brandon McKim, 40, 303 Main St., Tiltonsville, terroristic threats;

William Mercer, 33, 3605 Genteel Ridge Road, Wellsburg, grand larceny, receiving/transferring stolen goods, conspiracy;

Austin Rinkes, 22, 1034 Highland St., Follansbee, escape;

Zachary Starr, 30, 213 Wildflower Way, Follansbee, three counts of domestic battery, third or subsequent offense; domestic assault, third or subsequent offense; petit larceny;

Natasha Thomas, 38, 708 Virginia Ave., Follansbee, 20 counts of child neglect creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury;

Kenneth Tweedy, 48, 87096 Hissem Road, Cadiz, entering without breaking, conspiracy;

Robert Vojvodich Jr., 55, 3047 Orchard St., Apartment 2, Weirton, entering without breaking, conspiracy;

Jeffrey Wickham, 32, 2413 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville, possession with intent to deliver Schedule II (cocaine);

Alicia Wilson, 35, 3924 Taylors Ridge, Proctor, W.Va., possession with intent to deliver Schedule II (meth), transporting Schedule II narcotic into state, conspiracy;

Wayne Yoho, 36, 1619 Moundsville, possession with intent to deliver Schedule II (meth), transporting Schedule II narcotic into state, conspiracy.
