Steel Valley Showroom expands Cedar One’s reach beyond real estate
STEUBENVILLE — Tri-state area residents who are looking for design and remodeling help have a new option — the Steel Valley Showroom.
Management and friends of Steel Valley Contracting and Maintenance and the Cedar One Group cut a ribbon Friday afternoon to open the facility, located at 2728 Sunset Blvd.
It brings an elevated selection of home improvement products, kitchen and bathroom design, flooring and personalized customer service to the area, officials explained.
“We had an idea to turn this into a showroom to broaden our real estate reach and offer more than just selling homes, real estate and property management services,” explained Joe Luckino, CEO and owner. “We thought this would be a good spin-off and a good service for people here locally.”
The showroom occupies what had been Bella Hall, a former rental facility. A complete renovation turned the space into the 2,400-square-foot showroom.
“There is a design room, a place for private consultations, a display area and a touch screen monitor to help customers find items,” Luckino explained. “There is flooring, windows, kitchens, bathrooms, all kinds of outdoor turf — basically, anything for home improvement. We want to be the go-to showroom.”
It’s a place where customers can have a hands-on experience, look at different products, compare finishes and receive guidance for projects of any size.
Luckino said he and Evan Cuomo, co-owner of Steel Valley Contracting, have put in a lot of hard work to pull the project together. He added customers have three kitchen lines to choose from — Diamond, Fabuwood and Forevermark — and two flooring vendors — MSI and Certified.
“There are all sorts of different options for people when they come here,” Luckino added. “They can come here for consultations, we can come out and do measurements, they can come here and just buy the product and do it themselves, we can have installers help — whatever customers want, we can work with them.”
Cuomo added that they have tile, backsplashes and countertops, too, as well as installers for those products.
Expansion with the showroom was a good fit, Luckino said.
“We’ve been blessed with a lot of good people and a lot of good workers,” he added. “Last year, we had our best year ever. This year, we are on track to do good numbers, too. We just want to keep pushing our reach. If we are selling you a house, we want you to have the option of coming in here.”
When people purchase a home, Luckino said, among the first things they look at updating are the kitchen, the bathroom and the flooring.
“We want to give them the option to come here and keep it all under one roof,” he said. “Steel Valley Contracting is part of the Cedar One Group. We can come in here and keep it with the same people, give you the same service and pass along discounts for repeat customers, things like that. If you buy a house from us, you’re going to get special discounts, too.”
Delivery will be offered in a 60-mile radius, and Steel Valley Contracting and Cedar One are licensed in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. That’s a big advantage, Luckino said.
The business will have a soft opening, Luckino and Cuomo explained, and will grow into set hours with by-appointment consultations. For information, call (740) 346-2500.
They said they were thankful for the help of many people, including Tiffany Luckino and Cindy Cozza, director of operations.
Joe Luckino, Cuomo and Cozza said they want the showroom to be a place where customers can feel inspired and supported through every stage of their project.
