Shots fired in Steubenville, one injured
STEUBENVILLE — A man was injured Tuesday evening in a shooting incident in the 100 block of Hollywood Boulevard.
Police Chief Ken Anderson said the ‘shots fired’ call was logged around 6 p.m. and when officer arrived at the location they “located a scene and detectives were notified.”
“We then received a report that a male arrived at Trinity West emergency room with a reported gunshot wound,” he said. “Officers and detectives responded to the hospital and spoke to the victim.”
The unidentified male was transported to a Pittsburgh hospital for further treatment of a non-life threatening injury, he said.
The incident remains under investigation.
