Buffalo Clovers 4-H Club show state pride
Craig Howell
Members of the Buffalo Clovers 4-H Club, as part of a community service project, gathered near the Wellsburg Wharf Thursday to plant a rhododendron bush near the Almost Heaven swing. They were aided in their effort by Wellsburg city officials, including Mayor Dan Dudley. Support for the project was provided by a mini-grant through the WVU Extension and its Team CLOVER (Community Leaders of the Ohio Valley Enhancing the Region) program, which offers training classes to teach 4-H clubs how to organize such projects. Funds for the program itself were provided from the Community Foundation of the Ohio Valley.
