A colorful display

The Top of West Virginia Arts Council welcomed guests to the Summit Art Gallery in Weirton, Tuesday, for the opening reception of “Colors in Motion,” a new exhibit featuring the artistic works of students from six area middle schools. Art by youth attending Brooke, Madonna, Oak Glen, St. Joseph, St. Paul and Weir middle schools will be on display through May 15 at the gallery, located within the offices of the Top of West Virginia Convention and Visitors Bureau, 243 Three Springs Drive, Suite 17, Weirton. The gallery is open 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
