WEIRTON — Weirton Police are investigating after the discovery of a body in Kings Creek Tuesday afternoon.

Officers were dispatched to the area of 2856 Kings Creek Road at approximately 3:25 p.m. to investigate a report of a body in the creek.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of Ashley Kukich, 39, no known address, on the ice which had formed over the creek.

No additional information is being released at this time as the investigation continues.
