RAYLAND — Some Jefferson County water customers on county Road 15 in the Rayland area will lose their water service between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Thursday.

District Director Jonathan Sgalla said the service interruption will “allow for repairs at the pumping station.”

“Once water service is restored there will be a 48 hour boil order (in place) for customers who lost water,” he said.
