Facade unveiled

The new facade on the south wall of the Millsop Community Center was officially unveiled Tuesday, with a few additions to what residents are used to seeing. The facade work is part of a years-long rehabilitation project aimed at repairing and stabilizing the center’s south wall along Sarah’s Lane and facing the Mary H. Weir Public Library. The project, with Grae-Con Construction serving as contractor, began in 2021, with remaining work to include the installation of new windows in the area of the community center’s pool. — Craig Howell
