Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church to offer free Christmas Day meal
STEUBENVILLE — Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, located at 300 S. Fourth St., will hold its 15th-annual free Christmas Day memorial dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday.
All members of the community are invited to come and enjoy a free meal and company. It is open to everyone that wants to come and have a free meal, organizers explained, adding it’s available whether you are alone, in need or just don’t want to cook.
This is a dine-in only meal, they added. No take-out or delivery will be available.
The Steel Valley Regional Transit Authority has donated bus service to allow those who do not have transportation to participate.
Service will run between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. and include stops at North Sixth and Market streets, North Sixth at Franklin streets, the Franciscan University of Steubenville, University Boulevard and Woodlawn Road, Woodlawn Road and Oregon Avenue, Sunset Boulevard and McDowell Avenue, Sunset Boulevard and Hollywood Boulevard, Sunset Boulevard and Wilma Avenue, the former Eastern Gateway Community College, Sunset Boulevard and Negley Avenue, Sunset Boulevard and Richland Street, Sunset Boulevard and DiGregory Street, Sunset Boulevard and McDowell Avenue, Woodlawn Road and Pennsylvania Avenue, Pennsylvania Avenue and Pittsburgh Street, Lawson Avenue and West Adams Street, the Gaylord Tower Apartments, the Cutri Multi-Modal Center, the South End and Coal Hill, South Fifth Street and South Fourth Street to the Cutri Multi-Modal Center.
