Continuing a holiday tradition, Weirton crossing guard Sheila Long, on the final day before Christmas break Friday, worked with parents to treat the youth of her bus stop at the Marland Heights Fire Station with some Christmas surprises, including a visit from Santa Claus. Each child received a gift, along with some pizza and other refreshments. The effort receives additional support each year from United Bank and other donors. — Craig Howell
