Members of the Rotary Club of Weirton Heights, Weirton Rotary and Brooke County Rotary gathered Thursday at the Lauttamus Event Center to host Rotary District 7545 Governor Richard J. Macak Jr., and his wife, Pat, of Beckley, who spoke about projects taking place in Rotary clubs throughout West Virginia and around the world. Leaders of local clubs also discussed some of their own ongoing efforts, including growth in membership, scholarship programs and contributions toward community projects. — Contributed
