Aggregation to be discussed
TORONTO — John Ney, a representative of Regor Energy, will be available to discuss the electric and gas aggregation program with the city at 6 p.m. Monday at the City Building.
Toronto Council’s next regular meeting will follow at 7 p.m.
Prevention board committee to meet
STEUBENVILLE — The building and grounds committee of the Jefferson County Prevention and Recovery Board will meet at 5 p.m. Thursday.
The meeting will be held at the board office at 524 Madison Ave.
SHS fall choir concert Sunday
STEUBENVILLE — The Steubenville High School choir will present its fall concert Sunday at First Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Performances start at 3 p.m. and will feature the A Cappella Choir, Crimson Women’s and Men’s choirs, and the Crimson Fuzion Jazz Choir, with 85 students in grades 9-12 filling the venue with song. Choir Director Scott Wolodkin said donations will be accepted at the door and the public was welcome to attend.
“We are presenting the choral works we have been working on during the first nine weeks of school,” he said. “The purpose of the event is to bring people together to share our love of music, and also it is an opportunity for our men’s and women’s groups to perform when they don’t normally. The concert is open to anyone and we hope that we can provide a Sunday afternoon of great music and friendship.”
County road work set
STEUBENVILLE — The Jeffeson County Highway Department has released its work schedule for the coming week. It includes:
• Spot paving: County Road 56 (Costonia-Mount Tabor Road)
• Bridge replacement: Knox Township Road 289 and Springfield Township Road 472 (Ridgewood)
• Contract tree trimming: County Road 53 (Bergholz-New Somerset Road
SVRTA board to meet
STEUBENVILLE — The Steel Valley Regional Transit Authority will hold its regular board meeting at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
The meeting will be held at the Robert J. Cutri, Modal Center.
Toronto building committee to meet
TORONTO — The buildings and grounds committee of the Toronto City School Board will meet at 4 p.m. Thursday in the library of Toronto Junior-Senior High School.
The regular board meeting will immediately follow.
