Haunted Hayrides offered in Toronto
TORONTO — Hike Toronto again will offer a Haunted Hayride attraction through the historic section of Toronto Union Cemetery on Saturday and Oct. 18, 24 and 31.
Tickets are $5 each and should be purchased in advance for the rides, which will start at 7 p.m., by going to htttps://hiketoronto.com/haunted-hayride/
The hay wagon will leave from the north end of the cemetery, which is near county Road 42A and Sunset Drive, and proceed through its historic southern section, with a guide telling macabre tales from the city’s past.
Proceeds will go to the volunteer group’s ongoing efforts to create a system of walking trails there and elsewhere in the city.
Prevention board committee to meet
STEUBENVILLE — The building and grounds committee of the Jefferson County Prevention and Recovery Board will meet at 5 p.m. Oct. 16.
The meeting will be held at the board office at 524 Madison Ave.
