Steubenville Chipotle opens today

STEUBENVILLE — The newest restaurant in the city is scheduled to open today.

Officials with Chipotle Mexican Grill said the restaurant at 4109 Mall Drive will begin serving customers this morning.

The restaurant features the chain’s Chipotlane, a drive-through pick-up lane that allows guests to pick up digital orders without leaving their cars.

Located next to Mall Drive in the parking lot of the Lowe’s Home Improvement Center, the new Chipotle will be open from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week.

It’s the latest restaurant to open in the city’s West End in the past month. A new Starbucks location at 4201 Mall Drive in the Tri-State Plaza opened a couple of weeks ago.

Back to school event set

TORONTO — Toronto City Schools will hold their annual Back-to-School Bash for all students in the Toronto school district from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday outside Toronto Junior-Senior High School.

There will be free school supplies, vendors selling food and other items and inflatable attractions for children.
