AEP foundation helps United Way

The United Way of Jefferson County has received a $10,000 donation from the AEP-Ohio Foundation. On hand for the presentation were, from left, Mike Sikora, AEP key accounts manager; Charles McGowan, AEP Steubenville DSS; Marci Snyder-Crawford, executive director of the United Way; and Frank Baldwin, AEP business service account manager. Snyder-Crawford said the organization was grateful for the contribution, stating that it will enable it to provide essential services, including serving hot meals, offering safer shelter, providing health care, mentoring children and supporting families in crisis. The AEP contribution serves as a lifeline and a source of relief, highlighting the community’s commitment to caring for one another, she explained. — Contributed
