On Monday, oaths of office were administered by 1st Judicial Circuit Family Court Judge Joyce Chernenko to four re-elected Wellsburg officials and one newly elected one. Particpating in the ceremony were, from left: 3rd Ward Councilmen Geno Capp and Tom Gaudio, Police Chief Mike Allman, Chernenko, 4th Ward Councilman Larry Swanson, a new addition to Wellsburg Council; and Mayor Dan Dudley. Dudley said in his second term, he looks forward to completing unfinished business, including additions to local parks, improvements to the water and sewer systems and fostering more community involvement. — Warren Scott
