Newly elected and re-elected leaders of Follansbee were looking to the future after being administered oaths of office by 1st Judicial Circuit Court Judge Jason Cuomo on Tuesday at the Follansbee Community House. Participating in the ceremony were, from left, Police Chief Larry Rea, 1st Ward Councilman Anthony D’Ulisse, 2nd Ward Councilman John Casinelli, 5th Ward Councilman Joe Kafton, City Attorney Michael Gaudio, Councilman at large John Schwertfeger, Mayor Scott McMahon, 3rd Ward Councilman Nick Cekinovich, 4th Ward Councilman Rudy Cipriani and City Clerk David Kurcina. In addressing the guests on hand, McMahon predicted city officials will have hard decisions to make in the future and will disagree at times, but he encouraged them to always treat each other with respect because all want to make the city better. — Warren Scott
