Yorkville woman faces drug charges
YORKVILLE — A 36-year-old woman is facing multiple drug charges after authorities allegedly seized drugs, two guns and cash from her home Thursday.
Jefferson County Drug Task Force Commander Capt. Chris Vinci said Amanda Marie McPhearson, 136 Martha St., is being held in the Jefferson County Justice Center on three counts of possessing illegal drugs.
‘Detectives will also request an arrest warrant for a second individual who was not home when the warrant was executed,” he added.
Vinci alleges 250 grams of methamphetamine, 10 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of fentanyl, two guns and $2,500 in cash were seized during a search of the residence, which was executed by the Jefferson County Drug Task Force, Belmont County Criminal Interdiction Team, Jefferson County Special Response Team, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and the Ohio Organized Crime Investigations Commission.
The Jefferson County Drug Task Force is comprised of members of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Steubenville Police Department, and the Jefferson County Prosecutor’s Office.
